Starting 13 May 2027, the German airline Condor will begin operating flights between Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Frankfurt Airport. With two daily departures, travellers will enjoy more options for journeys to Germany, as well as convenient onward connections to destinations across Europe, North America, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia.

Sweden needs strong connectivity, both domestically and internationally. This is vital for Sweden’s growth and competitiveness, as well as for keeping the country connected and linking Sweden with the rest of the world. To support this, Swedavia is implementing changes aimed at creating a more customer-focused and cost-efficient operation, with the goal of establishing better conditions for Swedish aviation. As a result of these changes, Swedavia is also adapting its organizational structure.

Starting in the winter 2026 season, travelling between Sweden and Egypt will become easier. EGYPTAIR is launching a new direct route between Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Cairo with four weekly departures. The new service will also provide convenient onward connections to destinations across the Middle East and Africa.

On 1 September, the security control in Terminal 3 at Stockholm Arlanda Airport will close. At the same time, construction will begin on a new corridor beyond the security control that will connect Terminal 3 with Terminal 2.
